Sajan, the accomplished Nepalese drummer born on December 8, 1994, in Butwal, Nepal, embodies an unwavering dedication to drumming and music that has shaped his remarkable musical journey. From an early age, his exposure to music ignited a profound fascination with rhythm, paving the way for his destiny as a drummer.
Diving into diverse genres such as rock, blues, and funk, Sajan’s cross-cultural exploration has endowed him with a unique perspective on rhythm, setting him apart in the drumming industry. Collaborating with local musicians and immersing himself in their distinct rhythms at various events has contributed to his versatility as a drummer.
Sajan’s ability to seamlessly blend different forms of drumming showcases his versatility. Beyond being a performer, he dedicates himself to education, sharing his knowledge and passion for drumming with the next generation of musicians.
Currently involved with bands such as Dtunes and Heritage Nepal, Sajan has contributed to two original songs with Heritage Nepal. His past engagements include bands like Govin and the Trust and Six Strings. Looking ahead, he plans to work on original numbers with the Dtunes band and continues his journey as a session drummer.
